What do I do when I receive my Bishopstown TruCash card?

To access your loyalty benefits, register your card by visiting www.bishopstowncu.ie, under "products and services" click on the TruCash loyalty icon, and click on "Register". You can now enter your profile information.  

 When can I begin using my card?

After registering your card for loyalty, you can begin earning points immediately.

 How do I earn points with my card?

You earn points every time you use your card for a point-of-sale transaction.  You can also shop online and earn points with participating TruCash merchants.  Convert your points to cash online at any time, and use your card at any ATM or point-of-sale terminal that displays the MasterCard acceptance mark. 

Do I earn points on every purchase?

Yes, with every point-of-sale transaction and online with participating TruCash merchants.

How many points will I earn?

Every time you use your card to make a purchase at point-of-sale, you will earn 1 point for every 1 euro spent. When using your card to make a purchase with TruCash online merchants, points will vary with each merchant. 

 After my purchase, when will the points I"ve earned appear in my account?

Points will appear in your account 2-5 business days after the sale. (Restrictions may apply)

Do my points ever expire?

No, however any account with an existing point"s balance and no activity for 12 consecutive months shall have a minimum service fee equal to the remaining balance. Service fees shall only apply as long as the account remains inactive.

What can I do with my points?

You can convert your points to cash.

How do I convert my points to cash?

Login at www.bishopstowncu.ie; under "products and services" click on the TruCash loyalty icon, and click on "Convert my Points to Cash" on the left hand side. Choose "Convert Points to Cash", "select conversion amount" and "convert now". You can choose to have your points converted to cash automatically on a permanent basis, or convert your points to cash upon that particular visit.  Your cash on your card can now be used at any ATM that displays the MasterCard acceptance mark.   Note:   5,714 points are required for €10.00 cash. 

If withdrawing your funds from an ATM, you may be prompted to enter either "1" or "2" for MasterCard; if prompted to do so, please enter "1".

How do I view my cash balance and transaction activity?

Visit your Bishopstown online bank account to see your cash-related activity.
Once I convert my points to cash, can I convert them back to points?
No, cash cannot be converted back to points.

How can I view my card"s point balance?

When you visit www.bishopstowncu.ie, click on the TruCash loyalty icon, and login on the left-hand side, your current points balance will always be displayed at the top left hand side of your screen.   You can view more details by clicking on "Account", then "Activities".

How do I update my personal details?

Under the "Account" tab click on "Profile", make the required changes, then click "submit".

Are there security measures in place for my card?

Yes. You will receive a personal identification number (PIN) with your TruCash card. This PIN is the number you will need to withdraw funds at ATM terminals.   No one can access your cash without your PIN, so protect it diligently.

Can I choose a new PIN?

Yes.

How do I change my PIN?

Insert your card into the CHIP reader at any participating ATM that has CHIP acceptance, and follow the on-screen prompts for a PIN change.

Does TruCash know my PIN?

No.

What happens if my card is lost or stolen or I forget or lose my PIN?

If your card is lost or stolen, or your PIN becomes known to someone other than yourself, please call 1850-247-467 immediately.
